Members may chose to be competitive or recreational fencers. Recreational fencers may enter the team tournament, but are unable to enter any other tournaments unless they are in the under-13 or Masters (over 30) categories. You may also choose to be a supporting member of the Saskatchewan Fencing Association.

There are two membership forms to fill out: the Matadors Registration form and the SFA form. If you return your forms and fees before the deadline, the SFA will purchase your Canadian Fencing Federation license, which you need to enter tournaments. If you missed the deadline, you can purchase your license online.

You may try out the club for two weeks before deciding on membership.

Parents/legal guardians of minor children are required to fill out a travel permission form if their child is travelling with the team to tournaments.
